Dalton

Dalton grew up in the wilds of the Kootenays with his two sisters, Jen and Dayna, and his very patient parents Brenda and Roger. He moved to Alberta to get into the line trade. He attended NAIT and works for Artic Arrow building powerlines. His job (and his hobbies) continue to mildly terrify his parents.

When he’s not up a tower or disappearing into the woods, Dalton keeps himself busy quadding, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and cooking - though Kerri insists her role as Chief Taste Tester is equally as important.

He also firmly believes he can build absolutely anything in the five and a half minutes he gets off work. (Confidence is key.)

Kerri

Kerri has lived all over Alberta, but spent most of her life in Medicine Hat. Her mom Sandra still lives there, her brother Klay is in Pincher Creek, and her dad Dale and stepmom Diane live in Courtenay, BC. She moved in with Dalton in Airdrie and works as a community paramedic in Calgary. When she’s not wrangling chaos at work, she’s usually off scuba diving, snowboarding, or curled up reading with her fluffy dog and even fluffier cat.

Kerri loves to “supervise” Dalton’s grand ideas and offer a helping (if slightly useless) hand. She also excels at delivering reality checks like, “That’s cute, but you have 2 days off next week,” while holding snacks and moral support.

D&K

They met in 2023 after their mutual friends insisted they would be "perfect" for each other. Turns out, you should probably listen to people who've known you for years - who knew? After a hot minute, Kerri knew Dalton was worth the risk and applied for a job in Calgary. She said, "Holy shit..." and moved in with her ever-gracious Aunt and Uncle for the ... third, maybe fourth time (who's counting?).

They came together like peas in a pod - or Kraft Dinner (even better considering those are their initials) and yes, it's perfect and as cheesy as it sounds. From day one, they've been each other's favorite adventure buddies, partners in crime, expert snack sharers, and the ultimate team.

Together, Kerri and Dalton make the perfect pair: he dreams big, she makes the list. He gets down on one knee, she plans the wedding. He builds the things, she holds the flashlight (and occasionally googles how not to screw it up).

Now they are gearing up for their greatest and wildest adventure yet - getting married in Mexico and celebrating with people they love the most! Margaritas definitely involved, lots of laughs, questionable dance moves, and memories that'll last a lifetime (some maybe better left unshared).

This wedding is about good vibes only, not gift wrap! You joining is the most generous gift, because of this we won’t be having any bachelor (ette) parties, or bridal showers. And we kindly ask for no gifts. If you can join us we would be over the moon! If not, we totally get it - this is an invitation, not a travel commandment written in sunscreen! Come for the love, stay for the margaritas!
